• create tasks (e.g. a quiz, a message, a voice conversation)
• distribute lesson materials (their own or by other authors)
• define learning objectives for individuals or groups
• give and assess homework
• access tests results
• inform individual students about their progress
• create and edit their own courses using the SuperMemo method of revisions, which optimises the learning process
• access the statistics (concerning the range of the material studied as well as students’ activity: number of login sessions, learning duration, etc.)
• keep in touch with their students and other teachers using forums, emails, chat rooms etc.

The teacher account is available when a customer has purchased the access to the SuperMemo courses on the supermemo.net e-learning platform or uses his or her own courses implemented into the platform.

One of the most important features includes following the learning process of the members of each group in terms of their learning progress, exam reports, time statistics and the most popular courses (if the users have the option of choosing additional ones). The teacher account also allows to prepare tasks for students. When creating a task, the teacher can enter the subject of the task and its content, set its due date and appoint the students for whom the task is intended. It is also possible to assign a section of the course to the task, e.g. if students are supposed to read a part of the material in a given section of the course. This makes learning the chosen content much easier.

Uniqueness of the SuperMemo method

Based on research in long-term memory, SuperMemo is an acknowledged method of optimising the learning process and has received numerous awards. Research conducted by School Publishers PWN on a group of several hundred students shows that the test results of the students who used SuperMemo at least once a week were generally about 30% better than average. The supermemo.net e-learning platform is a solution for distance learning which uses the Internet as a universal tool of transferring data between each learner and the central system. The basic feature of supermemo.net is to allow users to build study plans for individuals and groups. The Internet enables implementing a training programme for groups of employees, students and other trainees. Asynchronous learning mode allows teachers to supervise the learning process with help of the system.
