The course is aimed at English-speaking users who would like to learn Spanish at the beginner level or brush up their basic knowledge. After mastering the content of the course, the user is able to communicate in Spanish in simple everyday situations.

The scope of the vocabulary and grammar subjects in the course corresponds to the A1-A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Preparing for the A2 exam requires taking a 3-month traditional language course. The online course Spanish. ¡No hay problema! makes it possible to shorten this time significantly and use it very effectively. By using the online course for about 30 minutes a day the user can master the material as fast as in 6 months (1 lesson in every 2 weeks).

The course Spanish. ¡No hay problema! contains 12 extensive and thoroughly designed lessons that comprise almost 3,000 grammar and vocabulary exercises to learn 1,000 words and expressions. Each lesson is based on working with texts, reading and listening comprehension, and repeating the vocabulary used in the texts. The SuperMemo method organises the repetition process so that the information is reviewed with optimal timing. The course also includes commentaries and grammar section. The author's explanations are clear and accessible, and are further supplemented with a series of drills and consolidation tasks for quick and intuitive learning of grammar. Each lesson contains the following chapters:

  • Diálogos y vocabulario – dialogues and texts that present words and expressions in context and teach the correct use of collocations, over 9 hours of recordings by Spanish native speakers,

  • the singular and plural of nouns,
  • cardinal numbers,
  • adjectives, comparison of adjectives,
  • adverbials of place and time,
  • regular and irregular verbs of 3 verb groups (-ar, -er, -ir),
  • past tenses: pretérito imperfecto, pretérito indefinido and pretérito perfecto,
  • exclamations,
  • imperative.
