With My First Words a child can learn as many as 100 basic words in 6 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Polish.

Each of the languages may also be chosen as the interface language of the application, i.e., the language of instructions. This means that, for instance, a German child can use the course to learn French words. Both the interface and the taught languages may be at any time changed by the user of the application.

As a foreign language course, My First Words is intended for children aged 5 to 9. However, even children as young as 2-year-olds may use the application to learn their mother tongue.

It is not only about learning! 10 interactive educational games will make the learning process even more engaging.

The application includes:

100 words in 6 languages:the words are introduced through 10 interactive scenes (Holidays, Exotic Animals, In the City, Shopping, Fairy Tales, In My Room, In the Country, Family, Colours, Numbers),
200 exercises (2 for each new word) suitable also for children who cannot yet read and write: a child clicks on items in the picture or matches words with pictures,
10 educational games to practice the vocabulary from each of the interactive scenes,
over 100 pictures to print and colour,
a sound picture dictionary with all the words from the course

A child is guided through the course by a dragon called Memo, who grows with every word the child remembers, motivating the young student to learn more. Memo encourages the child to do new exercises and review with the intelligent SuperMemo method.

By the SuperMemo method, the application analyses the learning progress and chooses words that need reviewing. All the characters and items are animated and the funny animations additionally attract children to learn and play with the course.
